Hey guys,

I would like to get a price check on this shield:

I alrdy asked a couple friend of mine, but I need more input.

If it was Strength, a lot, but since it's Tactics not so much. Tactics shields with Stance mods are kinda unloved. Super cool skin so wait for more input ofc.

IMO it should go for 5-6stacks of ectos, depending on interest.

Yep. 5 or 6 stacks of ectos is very possible. That's a very rare shield.

Oh I agree that it's rare, but is it actually useful?

Anyways, these guys know boats so the pricing seems good.

Well, seeing that any half way decent warrior will be investing a lot into Strength and using Strength stances to raise the damage it is fine for them... Being Tactics also means that you can use it on a secondary warrior and use primary ranger stances, Mesmer Mantras or (more likely) EotN Pve stances for example. Hence. Id say that Tactics in this case is even better than Strength as an attribute due to the fact, that any profession can use it.

6 Stacks may be a bit on the high end though. You could be pleasantly surprised though if a bid war is started of course... but then it even has the possibility of going even higher depending on who is bidding. I dont factor in bid wars on my PCs though, unless I know of more than one collector searching for that exact item.

Realistically Id say 4-5 stacks for my high end pricing, and that is already factoring in that it is one of the best looking shields available (imo).

1000e+ what number it ends on depends on how many that is interested in it. I know of quite a few.

If this shield don't reach 1000e I'll shave my left thigh and post a picture of it in the Collection thread. Heck I'll even swim over to Pleikki and force him to customize it!

I personally see 750-1000e range. Sure it's rare. But anyone can go farm this. Speaking of that, probably tons of people are. It's not qtac 30/-2ench. It's the 'off match' having tac req and stance mod. Those never go for close to the same hype/price as the match.

Let's see what happens.

A warrior can easily use q7,q8 and even q9 tact shields with efficiency drop 1 point from the 13str you have then get 6 in tact+1 tact rune +1corn and 1golden egg=9. at least thats how i do when i want to use my tactics shields.
Higher then q9 its just NOPE..

On usefulness question, Well with pcons you can make anything useful,

Personally for myself ive found any tactic shield over q8 useless , only using stre shields pretty much

But! iknow alot ppl who use pcons and tactics as secprof etc so i guess you can make it useful if u want to.
